NEC at Enterprise Connect 2016

NEC At Enterprise Connect 2016

NEC is focused on helping companies Discover the Power of the Smart Enterprise during the Enterprise Connect 2016 Conference in Orlando, Florida, March 7th-10th. The NEC conference booth (#1021:Mp) is designed as a “Smart Enterprise,” representing different departments within a company and showcasing NEC’s leadership in delivering an innovative portfolio of cloud, security, analytics, biometrics and technology solutions that can maximize the power of any communications network.

NEC SMART Customer Care Center

NEC’s business cloud services, UNIVERGE BLUE, offers high-end virtual contact center capabilities in a low cost, on-demand delivery model. Multi-channel interaction – voice, email, chat, video and voicemail, remote agent support and analytics in the cloud – improves productivity and customer care. UNIVERGE BLUE will be just one of the many Smart Solutions NEC is highlighting at Enterprise Connect.

Monday Session: Is the Path to UC Changing?

Ram Menghani, NEC Vice President, Unified Communications Products and Support, will join a panel of industry experts to address the profound transformations taking place in unified communications (UC). Market researchers tell us that the global market for UC will be in the tens of billions of dollars and growing by double-digit percentages annually for the next several years.

The appeal of the cloud is making itself felt in the world of communications, with UC as a Service (UCaaS) projected for strong growth. Mobility is only getting more important in the workplace while the integration of communications with business apps and processes is becoming mainstream.

In this session, a panel of UC luminaries will debate which approaches make the most sense as enterprises seek to provide business-grade communications for users who increasingly are young, mobile, digital-native, and not necessarily oriented toward voice communications. You’ll come away with a sense for the roadmap you can follow, and what your communications environment might look like in the near, mid, and longer terms.

Monday Session: A UCaaS/Hybrid RFP – What Can Cloud Providers Deliver?

This year’s Enterprise Connect RFP workshop will be dedicated to Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) offerings, in “pure” form and in a hybrid with premises systems. NEC Sr. Systems Architect, JP Najar, will join Dave Stein of Stein Technology Group consulting for this workshop.

Stein will craft a mock RFP for communications service for a medium-sized enterprise. The panel will review responses from UCaaS providers to discover the state of the art in UCaaS features, functions, and pricing. Attendees will receive both a detailed view on how to write an RFP for UCaaS services, and will see the responses provided by major players in this space.

The rich supply of documentation will include:

  • A detailed description and discussion that will help you understand how mature today’s UCaaS services are
  • How providers stack up against each other
  • To what extent providers may transform your communications environment
  • How providers can support migration and hybrid strategies

We hope to see you at Enterprise Connect 2016.
